Student In Action

Meet Trinity Woodside, a sixth grade Principal Honor Roll student of Kingsway Academy Elementary School where she takes great pride in participating in school activities. She is a proud Constituent of Nassau Village Community where she is well known for her acts of kindness, good manners and her involvement in her community. Colossians 3:23-24 says “Whatever you do,work at it with all your heart as working for the Lord, Not for human masters.” Therefore, Trinity takes great joy in working and serving with a smile and a courteous word. Trinity Woodside is also a devoted member of Revival Faith Mission Church where she is a part of the youth department and other ministries like the music and dance ministry and more. Ambitious, diligent, and respectful are just a few words used to describe this beautiful young girl.

She has good character and is seen as a leader among her peers as she exudes Christ- like behaviour. This past summer , Trinity read a total of 10 books, hosted reading sessions, took part in summer enrichment programs, wowed the audience with a piano recital, she broadened her horizon as she travelled and experienced different cultures and even started her own business Crochet Couture!

Though Trinity was always good with her hands and showing her creativity through the art of drawing, painting , cooking and sewing. She shared with our team that it was one of her best friends Nathaly Roxbury that taught her the art of crocheting. Since a few short lessons one afternoon after school, Trinity has taken the crochet world by storm one loop at a time creating unique Jewelry bowls, headbands, and both simple and elaborate hairbows. She showed us some of her bows she made to celebrate our country’s 51st independence along with some of her back to school orders. Trinity explained that her favorite part of crocheting is seeing her creations being worn. “

When I see a customer wearing one of my headbands or hairbows I usually say , “ Crochet Couture is on the move!” Finally, Trinity is grateful to God for the gifts, talents and abilities he has blessed her with. She is happy to have family and friends who support her business, especially her parents who encourage her to be creative.
