Nikita Kuzmin is calling on Strictly bosses to bring Dani Dyer back in 2026. The pro dancer, 27, was due to compete with her on the new series before she crashed out due to an ankle injury . Now he has admitted he is so keen to do a series with her that he’s hoping she gets the chance to make a comeback next year . In a post on social media , Nikita said: “So so gutted to have finished our journey before it even properly started… the amount of laughs and fun we had in this short time was unbelievable. “Really loved our partnership and hope that one day we can actually get to week 1 lol but, health is the most important thing… “I’m wishing you the absolute best @danidyerxx you’re so lovely, positive and a wonderful human being!! And it breaks my heart knowing how excited you were to do your absolute best on the show! Hopefully we can pick up next year :)” Strictly bosses have hinted Dani, 29, will return. Executive producer Sarah James said: “We very much hope to welcome her back to the ballroom in the future.” Former Love Island winner Dani is devastated she has had to pull out of the series ahead of the first live show tomorrow night. Earlier this week, she said: “To say I’m heartbroken is the biggest understatement.” Dani has vowed to tune in to watch the new series and support pals including Vicky Pattison. She added: “I am so going to miss dancing with Nikita but will of course be watching closely and cheering all the couples on.”
