Amy Dowden has implored fans to ‘stay tuned’ as she shared a joint update with her Strictly Come Dancing co-star ahead of their return to the show. The professional dancer will be back in the hit BBC One dance show’s famous ballroom along Carlos Gu as the 2025 series gets underway on Saturday (September 20). The launch show will see the 15 new celebrity contestants making their dance floor debuts, before they discover who their professional partners are for the first time. There will also be a number of other Strictly treats and surprises, including a sizzling group routine from the show’s talented pros, before the first live show of the series airs the following week (September 27), when the new couples perform their first dance. But ahead of Strictly’s big return, Amy took to social media to tease some news about her and Carlos’ joint venture. Fans will know that the pair hit the road in their first joint-headline tour earlier this year. With both of them pro’s on the popular programme, and good friends away from the dance floor, they performed in their own tour, titled Amy & Carlos: Reborn, throughout March and early April. The string of shows were a triumph for the pair, and saw their personal “dream” of performing on a West End Stage at London’s Adelphi Theatre come true. Now, it seems their partnership away from the Strictly ballroom isn’t over. Taking to Instagram on Friday (September 19) evening, Amy sharing a picture of the smiling pair on stage with a caption reading: “STAY TUNED FOR EXCITING TOUR NEWS! Taking to Instagram on Wednesday (September 17), she revealed she’s been working on a podcast about breast cancer following her own journey with the disease. Alongside a first-look clip, Amy shared: “I’m delighted to announce that I’ve been working with breast cancer surgeon, Naren Basu, at Birmingham Breast Group to record a new podcast series. “Breast Cancer Uncovered is a five-part exploration into the realities of breast cancer – from diagnosis and genetics to recovery, diet, reconstruction and life after treatment. “Naren is part of the clinical team at the University Hospital Birmingham, who I met along my cancer journey. You may recognise Naren from my BBC Documentary, Strictly Amy: Cancer and Me. The series starts tomorrow, but you can get a sneak peek now. Just search for Breast Cancer Uncovered on YouTube, Spotify and Apple Podcasts.”
