Strictly Come Dancing star Lewis Cope's girlfriend has admitted she was left "bawling my eyes out" after Saturday's Halloween show. Former Emmerdale actor Lewis, 30, has been dating pilates instructor Rach Lopez for seven years. On Saturday night, Lewis and professional dance partner Katya Jones scored the first 40 of the series with their spooktacular Couple's Choice dance to Creep by Radiohead. Judges - Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Shirley Ballas - all gave glowing reviews as they each scored the dance 10 points, saying it would go down in Strictly history. During Saturday's show, Lewis' proud girlfriend was spotted in the audience as she supported her partner, where she was seen getting emotional over the incredible show moment. Taking to Instagram to share a picture of herself in the audience after Saturday's show, Rach penned: "Absolutely bawling my eyes out I've never been so proud of you @lewiscope." It comes as Rach shared a sweet message to Lewis ahead of his Strictly journey, writing: "I have never been so proud of you @lewiscope I am absolutely beaming!!!! You beautiful human #strictly #strictlycomedancing #lewiscope." Lewis was a last minute addition to Strictly after Kristian Nairn's unfortunate withdrawal from the show due to health issues, with Lewis stepping in to fill the vacancy. The actor, who played Nicky Milligan in Emmerdale, shared at the time that he was out with a friend when he received an unexpected call from BBC executives inviting him to join Strictly Come Dancing. He immediately agreed to participate. When asked about his late entry into the line-up, Lewis responded back in September: "I think if anything it's probably helped me, because I haven't really had time to think about it or anything. "The excitement has kind of just taken over. It's probably better for me." Lewis has plenty of past dance experience after starring in the musical Billy Elliot when he was younger. The actor also reportedly represented the UK in the World Hip Hop Dance Championships as part of a group in 2013 and even appearing on Got To Dance, where he finished as a runner-up with the hiphop dance troupe Ruff Diamond. Strictly Come Dancing the results airs at 7.15pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
