Strictly Come Dancing fans have praised one of the show's judges for their move towards Ellie Goldstein as they said 'how can anyone not' root for her in the competition. The model and actress was once again seen shining in the ballroom on Saturday night (October 25) having made it through to week five alongside her professional dance partner Vito Coppola. It was the second-ever Icons Week on the hit BBC One dance show, with Ellie channelling Baby Spice - aka Emma Bunton - for her and Vito's salsa to a Spice Girls’ medley. After their performance, for which they scored a respectable 28 points, Claudia Winkleman revealed that she had a special surprise for Ellie. "Ellie, we know you love the Spice Girls," the co-host began. "We know you love Baby Spice. Somebody really, really wants to send you a message," she added, as Ellie looked visibly stunned and told Vito: "I can't believe that!" In a video message, singer and radio host Emma said: "I have been watching you every week – and you're my favourite. And then I heard that I'm your favourite Spice Girl! "I'm honoured, and I just want to tell you – I think you are a superstar. Thank you so much for dancing to our songs, the other girls are sending all their love and good luck with the scores!" But it was Craig's comments that got fans talking. "I love the energy," he said, before sharing that he thinks Ellie needs more hip rotation, which was said to a chorus of boos from the audience. He went on to says that he also wanted to see better transitions from Ellie, but added that the personality she brings to the floor is incredible. In an unusual move, Strictly fans praised Craig for his comments to help Ellie improve, while others continued to hail her and Vito's joyous partnership. @RyanSoapKing25 said: "Fully respect Craig for subtly critiquing Ellie in the correct way without coming off as patronising.
