In a touching family revelation, Motsi Mabuse has opened up about her dramatic transformation and revealed her hopes for her young daughter. Motsi, who's been a judge on Strictly Come Dancing since 2019, discussed her family life in Germany with husband Evgenij Vozynuk and their five-year-old daughter (whose name remains private) . She apparently jets to the UK weekly for Strictly, heading home after the results show, but admitted she "couldn't do" the job without her husband's support, as she revealed the touching aspirations they hold for their little girl. Motsi (who recently opened up about her feelings towards her Strictly colleague ) told Yours : "The most important thing in my life is my family. I couldn't do the Strictly role without my husband, and our focus is always to raise our daughter as a healthy, happy, young black girl. Life is about being with the people you love." Motsi went on: "It is important to show you are working. It is good for me to tell my daughter to be independent and to be able to stand on her own two feet." She also spoke about her attention-grabbing weight loss , which she explained involved exercise and what was termed a complete "overhaul" of her eating habits to help her drop the pounds. The South African dancer concluded: "It was about being a healthier person in all aspects of my life. We live in such crazy times and being a better person is what it is all about." Her fitness regime now includes weights and "building muscle", with the Strictly judge revealing to The Sun's Fabulous magazine that she's consuming three particular foods and regularly visiting the sauna. She explained: "I'm eating nuts, fruit and salad. I'm going to the sauna three times a week, as it helps reduce your cortisol levels. I find ice baths are good for my mental health, too." Motsi, the sibling of former Strictly professional Oti Mabuse , disclosed that regarding the menopause, she's encountered considerable "fear mongering", mentioning that her friend, and Strictly head judge, Shirley Ballas , had cautioned her that the journey would be "a ride". The celebrity's striking transformation has also caught the eye of Strictly Come Dancing fans when she returned to the judging panel alongside fellow show legends Shirley, Craig Revel Horwood and Anton Du Beke last month. Delighted watchers even flocked to social media to express their praise for the judge. One commented: "Doesn't Motsi look amazing? ! Terrific weight loss. I'll have a bit of whatever she's on." Another remarked: "Holy s*** Motsi looks absolutely incredible not that she always didn't but serious WOW #StrictlyComeDancing #Strictly."
