Strictly's Motsi Mabuse's new look explained as she makes heartfelt family admission

In a heartfelt family admission, Motsi Mabuse has addressed her striking new look and shared hopes for her young daughter. Motsi, who's served as a judge on Strictly Come Dancing since 2019, shared details about her family life in Germany with her husband, Evgenij Vozynuk, and their five-year-old daughter (whose name has not been publicly disclosed). She reportedly flies to the UK each week for Strictly , returning home after the results show, but confessed that she "couldn't do" the role without the support of her husband, as she shared the touching aspirations they have for their daughter. Motsi (who recently shared her true feelings for her Strictly co-star ) told Yours : "The most important thing in my life is my family. I couldn't do the Strictly role without my husband, and our focus is always to raise our daughter as a healthy, happy, young black girl. Life is about being with the people you love." Motsi continued: "It is important to show you are working. It is good for me to tell my daughter to be independent and to be able to stand on her own two feet." She also addressed her headline-grabbing weight loss , which she said involved exercise and what was described as an "overhaul" of her diet to help her shed the pounds. The South African dancer added: "It was about being a healthier person in all aspects of my life. We live in such crazy times and being a better person is what it is all about." Her routine now involves weights and "building muscle", with the Strictly favourite telling The Sun's Fabulous magazine that she's eating three specific things and enjoying trips to the sauna. She said: "I'm eating nuts, fruit and salad. I'm going to the sauna three times a week, as it helps reduce your cortisol levels. I find ice baths are good for my mental health, too." Motsi, the sister of ex-Strictly pro Oti Mabuse, revealed that when it comes to the menopause, she's heard plenty of "fear mongering", noting that her pal, and Strictly head judge, Shirley Ballas , had warned her that the experience would be "a ride". The star's dramatic new look also drew the attention of Strictly fans when she returned to the panel alongside fellow judges Shirley, Craig Revel Horwood and Anton Du Beke last month. Impressed viewers took to social media to share their words of admiration. One said: "Doesn't Motsi look amazing?! Terrific weight loss. I'll have a bit of whatever she's on." Another said: "Holy s*** Motsi looks absolutely incredible not that she always didn’t but serious WOW #StrictlyComeDancing #Strictly." A third added: "I cannot get over how amazing Motsi looks. That colour is everything on her." You can catch the next episode of Strictly Come Dancing on BBC One on Saturday, October 25, from 6.20pm to 8.20pm.
