Dianne Buswell has shared the adorable message she received from her boyfriend Joe Sugg as she returned to Strictly Come Dancing following her sad exit from the competition. The professional dancer was originally set to perform on Saturday night (October 25), having made it through to week five of the BBC One dance contest alongside actor Stefan Dennis. He had to withdraw from the competition due to injury, meaning he and Dianne were no longer able to perform, leaving 11 couples remaining in the 2025 run of the show. Stefan's unfortunate after the actor was recently struck by illness, which forced him to miss week three of the dance show this month, before he and Dianne made a triumphant return to the ballroom last Saturday (October 18) with a Charleston to Dance Monkey by Tones And I. Many of the judges said it was the pair’s best dance as they scored 26 out of a possible 40 for the routine, their highest of the competition so far, before making it through to another week of Strictly's 2025 series during last Sunday's (October 19) results show. But it was on Monday (October 20) that it was sadly confirmed that Stefan and Dianne's time on the show had come to a sudden end after a 'devastated' Stefan suffered his injury. That being said, Dianne and Stefan were seen during Strictly's latest live show on Saturday night (October 25), which just so happened to be the second-ever Icons Week special, as Dianne headed to the 'Clauditorium' to support her co-stars, while Stefan watched from the live studio audience. Following the show, Dianne took to Instagram and shared a screenshot of the messages her other half, YouTuber Joe, had sent her having spotted her glowing on-screen in a halterneck purple dress which also boasted plenty of fringe detailing. "From @joe_sugg," she wrote alongside a face holding back tears emoji and string of red hearts as she revealed his message as saying: "You looked beadutiful on my telly this evening." It comes after Dianne pleaded for people to show Stefan 'some respect' after claims that their withdrawal from the competition was a 'set up', suggesting it was her who was no longer able to perform, with her later branding it a 'conspiracy theory' in her It Takes Two exit interview. She took to her Instagram Stories and shared a comment from one fan which read: "To be honest I saw this coming, Diane couldn't really continue especially when she gets bigger, bless her,'. "She's a brilliant dancer and she is one of my favourites sorry to say but I think this was planned to keep her and baby safe, just my thought." Having been subject to the same comments when Stefan couldn't perform due to illness, Dianne clapped back: "I sound like a broken record but I'm seeing a bit of this floating around again! I know people say ignore it but actually why should I? "I will speak up... I would love nothing more than to keep dancing this week next week the week after that so so on and so forth. In fact I have more energy this year than I did this time last year." The 36-year-old added: "Please respect Stefan who is extremely gutted to not tbe able to dance and stop presuming this was a set up! because believe me we would if we could!"
