First broadcast in 1948, Any Questions? is one of the BBC’s longest-running and most prestigious political discussion programmes, featuring leading figures from politics, the arts, business, and beyond. Hosting Any Questions? at King Edward VI College was a true honour for our college community, and it was inspiring to see our students so actively involved in political discussion.
The college welcomed a distinguished panel, hosted by Alex Forsyth:

The evening was engaging, insightful, and a real celebration of democratic debate. We are especially proud that three of our students had the opportunity to put their questions directly to the panel live on air – a remarkable achievement, as the BBC producers select questions on the night without knowing who will ask them.
Holly Bembridge, Principal, said: “It was an honour to host Any Questions? at King Edward VI College. Open, robust, and respectful debate is deeply valued here, and being part of this live broadcast was fascinating. It was a landmark evening that will be long remembered, and I’m grateful to the BBC and their guests for giving us this opportunity.”
