By Simon Asare, GNA Accra, Nov.10, GNA – Organisers of Stonebwoy’s Bhim Festival have announced December 24, 2025 as the new date for the highly anticipated music event, following a scheduling conflict with another major cultural programme. The original December 26 Bhim festival date clashed with the ‘Taste the Culture’ event, organised by the Black Star Experience Secretariat. After negotiations involving the Ghana Tourism Authority, Bhim Festival was moved to December 24, while Taste the Culture would go ahead on December 26, 2025. A statement by the Burniton Music Group and the Bhim Festival Secretariat said, “All details (including the time and venue) remain unchanged. “All Bhim Festival tickets purchased for the previously publicized date remain valid and may be retrieved at the various redemption centres at the venue.” They added the decision was made “out of respect for our wonderful patrons, and our desire to ensure that Bhim Festival delivers exceptional customer experience in terms of security, crowd safety, traffic management, parking conveniences and maximum support from the Ghana Police Service and the Fire Service.” The Bhim Festival Secretariat said the move reflects its commitment to harmony within the national “December in GH” calendar. “We believe that our decision demonstrates our commitment to ensuring harmony within the national December in GH events and we hope that going forward other government agencies operating within the creative industry will support rather than compete with Ghanaian creatives,” the statement added. The Bhim Festival, headlined by award-winning Afro-dancehall artiste Stonebwoy, is one of Ghana’s biggest annual music events and a key highlight of the December festive season over recent past years.
