Stevie Nicks is playing dress up with new Barbie doll inspired by her signature looks

Stevie Nicks wants to have "every outfit" she's ever worn turned into a Barbie doll. The 77-year-old singer has announced her second Barbie Signature doll inspired by her first solo album “Bella Donna,” best known for its hit track, “Edge of Seventeen.” Stevie previously had a Barbie inspired by her “Rumors” era style with Fleetwood Mac, and after that was a hit, she was “pretty adamant” about seeing her solo work immortalized in doll form. "It's almost like you almost kind of had to do that,” she told . "I mean, of course, they didn't have to do that for me, but I explained, ‘It's like they go hand in hand, and then they blend in and out of each other for the rest of my life.'" She continued, “They're a story of my whole musical life. If I have a legacy, if I have ‘What do I leave behind that is sacred?’ I think that it'd be Barbie. ‘Rumors’ and ‘Bella Donna’ Barbie are a huge part of what I leave behind when I go on to the next planet." “I'd like to have every outfit that I've ever had made into a Barbie doll. [But] these are the two best ones,” she added. The new “Bella Donna” Barbie sports a white dress with flowing angel sleeves, paired with white boots and a top hat. "The first Barbie is all in her black. And then I purposely, in my life, when I did the ‘Bella Donna’ cover, I said, ‘No. I have to wear the exact opposite. I have to wear all-white,’” she explained. "And then I eventually, of course, went back to black... They had to be standing there together.” Stevie loves the dolls so much (she’s apparently been a longtime baby doll collector too), she plans to publish a book of photos of the dolls soon. She told People the Barbies are “alive,” adding, “So it's truly like they're alive, amazing puppets that come to life for me.” “I know it sounds like I'm a fanatic,” she joked. “I've turned into a crazy lady, but I don't care because it's brought so much joy to me.” Hopefully, Stevie has her own doll on hand because they’re already sold out in pre-sales at Walmart and Amazon.
