The Dedication, directed by Adrienne Lunson, took home the top honor and a $1,000 grant. The short is a Japanese adaptation of the Stephen King short story about a housekeeper whose son writes a bestselling novel under mysterious circumstances. The National Entertainment Awards Academy for Military & Veterans hosted the awards, which were held on Saturday in Culver City.
