STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- From sustainability workshops and art exhibition openings to comedy nights and holiday markets, this weekend’s lineup offers something for everyone. Here’s your guide to what’s happening this weekend on Staten Island. Multi-Day Events Con Edison Cares For The Earth Weekend | Nov. 15-16, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Join the Staten Island Children’s Museum for a day dedicated to environmental education and sustainability. This special event offers families interactive exhibits and hands-on activities focused on caring for our planet. Children can participate in STEAM-based learning experiences that make environmental concepts accessible and engaging. The museum’s regular exhibits will also be open, providing a full day of exploration and discovery for visitors of all ages. Smodlaka for an illuminating journey into the genius of Michelangelo Buonarroti (1475–1564), one of the greatest artists of the Renaissance. This engaging presentation explores Michelangelo’s early masterpieces and the profound influences that shaped his work. Before the age of thirty, Michelangelo created some of the world’s most iconic marble sculptures including Bacchus, La Pietà and David.
