Starbucks' viral holiday "Bearista"cups sold out almost immediately after its Nov. 6 release. The coffee chain apologized for the short supply, stating that demand exceeded their expectations. Several retailers, including ALDI, Amazon, and Walmart, are offering similar bear-themed or holiday cups. Starbucks is releasing other holiday merchandise, including a collaboration with Hello Kitty. Fans who missed out on the chance to score Starbucks' viral holiday cup might have to settle for a dupe or figure out how to make their own. The Bearista Cup, which features an adorable 20 oz. teddy bear wearing a Starbucks stocking cap, sold out as soon as the Seattle-based coffee chain dropped them on Nov. 6. In fact, it sold out so fast that Starbucks issued a public apology for its short supply. "The excitement for our merchandise exceeded even our biggest expectations," Starbucks told People in a Nov. 6 statement. "Despite shipping more Bearista cups to coffeehouses than almost any other merchandise item this holiday season, the Bearista cup and some other items sold out fast." Starbucks added, "We understand many customers were excited about the Bearista cup and apologize for the disappointment this may have caused." Although Starbucks has not announced that it will be restocking its Bearista Cup, there are a few places where you can purchase a look-alike. Here's where. Where can I get a Bearista Starbucks cup dupe? ALDI ALDI's, which is known for its everyday low prices, is offering its own holiday cup ― and it's less than $5. On Nov. 9, the grocery chain posted on social media about its upcoming cup. "Miss out on that $30 bear? Well, we've got this diva," ALDI said, along with an image of a gingerbread man cup with rosy cheeks and a cute smile. "That Seattle-based coffee chain could neva," ALDI added. The gingerbread cup will be released on Wednesday, Nov. 12, and can be found at the "ALDI Finds" section of the grocery store. Amazon If you want a cup that looks similar to the Bearista Cup, the 2025 Bear Straw Cup sold on Amazon is as close as it gets. One cup costs $26.99, two cost $38.99, and three cost $50.99. Marshall's A TikTok video is making the rounds featuring a viral bear cup found at Marshall's. Target Pillowfort's Kids' 13 0z Figural Gingerbread Tumbler at Target comes in two colors: pink and brown. The tumbler is made out of glass and includes a straw, retailing for $5. TJ Maxx One TikToker shared the sweet deals she found on bear-shaped items while shopping at her local TJ Maxx. Walmart This bear cup, sold at Walmart, also looks like the Bearista Cup and is made out of glass just like it. The 2025 New Bear Straw Cup by Fantasy Frolic gives buyers the option of choosing a cup with a yellow or green hat, and it starts at a price of $18.62. Is Starbucks releasing other holiday merchandise for 2025 season? Yes, Starbucks has other merchandise lined up for fans this holiday season, including a Hello Kitty collaboration featuring a boxed plush, drinkware, and gift cards. The collection will be available starting Nov. 6. Starbucks will also be teaming up with Roller Rabbit to create a holiday merchandise collection inspired by the fashion line's designs. Cups from the collection will be available for purchase on Dec. 2.
