The artwork on the chest is a cartoon-ish image of four Wookiees, each wearing red robes and holding a Life Day Orb. “Life Day 2025” is in large letters. Life Day Chewbacca Action Figure – $34.99 Chewbacca is dressed in his red robe and holding a Life Day Orb. He has articulated limbs and the robe is removable. It features button-activated character sounds and motion-activated orb light and sound effects. Limited Release Life Day Pin – $19.99 Chewbacca is pictured in his red robe on this pin. He’s holding a Life Day Orb with a sparkly light blue finish and white “Life Day 2025” text. The background is also sparkly with dark blue Aurebesh lettering that translates to “Family, Joy, Harmony” — the core tenets of Wookiee culture and the Life Day celebration. Life Day is a Christmas-like holiday within the Star Wars universe, first introduced in the infamous Star Wars Holiday Special (1978). Wookiees celebrate family, joy, and harmony at the Tree of Life on their homeworld Kashyyyk, but the celebration has spread across the galaxy. Wookiees traditionally dress in red robes and decorate with glowing Life Day Orbs. The holiday was also mentioned in the first episode of The Mandalorian, solidifying its canonical status. In the real world, the holiday is marked on November 17, the anniversary of the release of the Star Wars Holiday Special.
