In her first public appearance since giving birth to her fourth child – her first with rapper Machine Gun Kelly – the actress upped the glam as she rocked a skin-coloured corset with crystals adorning the bodice that resembled dripping blood. The 39-year-old covered up with a semi-sheer, flesh-toned skirt and accessorised with nude heels and a red chocker for the Saturday night outing. “Mommy had a thing last night,” she captioned a video of herself all dressed up on Instagram the following day. Copied URL to clipboard The daring outfit was perfect for the occasion as Fox was attending a special screening of her 2009 supernatural horror-comedy Jennifer’s Body at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures theatre in LA. Fox took part in a Q&A about the film, and was asked what advice she would give to her younger self. “Oh, I don’t know that I would give myself advice,” she replied, as per People. “I think where I was at that point in my life, so lost, so full of that rage that I had towards how I had been treated in the industry, and how I was dealing with fame and the constant … at that time, before we started filming.” Megan Fox has returned to the spotlight over the weekend, seven months after welcoming her baby daughter. Picture: Diggzy / BACKGRID She then recalled going to the premiere and not being well quipped to handle the level of interest and scrutiny that came with her new-found fame, causing her to feel “grief and sorrow and also anger and rage”. “I just left a premiere for something where I had to go — I’m obligated to go — and I remember the paparazzi were so ruthless back then — the way they would talk to women,” she recalled. “And I walked out just to try to get to my car, and they’re all shooting. And one guy’s like, ‘Megan, why are you such a b***h?’ And another guy is like, ‘Megan, do you think you’re overrated? Picture: Diggzy / BACKGRID The film is still special to the star 16 years later, as she really resonated with her titular character, a demonically possessed high-school cheerleader who kills her male classmates in order to survive and maintain her powers. “I was being persecuted at that time in my career, and I was struggling a lot with fame and kind of traumatised by fame,” Fox said. “And so I resonated with those deeper layers of … you know, before she becomes a monster, she’s just a teenage girl who gets sacrificed for somebody else’s gain.” Fox at the premiere of Jennifer's Body in 2009. Picture: Kevin Winter/Getty Images The actress played the lead role and said she really resonated with the character. “And that very much resonated because that’s kind of how I got … I came into this industry, I think I was 19 when I made my first big movie, and that, I felt like, was reflecting back these energies that existed inside of myself.” Fox’s outing comes amid rumours she has reconciled with rapper Machine Gun Kelly – the father of her baby daughter. The actress also shares three sons with her ex-husband, actor Brian Austin Green. Fox and Kelly were together for four years before they went their separate ways last December. The couple surprised many when their split made headlines, just weeks after they excitedly announced their pregnancy with Saga. Picture: Presley Ann/Getty Images It was reported at the time that Fox had found some suspicious messages from other women on the musician’s phone while they were in Vail, Colorado, over Thanksgiving weekend. They remained in touch throughout the pregnancy and it seems recently rekindled their romance. “They’re together often, but he’s going on tour soon,” a source told People, adding that it’s unclear whether Fox will be joining him on tour or not. While they still have separate homes, they spend a lot of time together as a family.” “They’re putting the baby first, and it’s brought them closer in many ways. Things are great now.
