Stanley Tucci, born November 11, 1960, in Peekskill, New York, grew up immersed in the arts and earned his BFA in acting from SUNY Purchase in 1982. His professional career began on stage in the Broadway play The Queen and the Rebels, and his film debut came shortly after in Prizzi’s Honor (1985). He went on to carve out a distinguished career as a versatile character actor, earning acclaim in films such as The Lovely Bones, for which he received an Academy Award nomination. Tucci has also proven himself a charismatic leading man, starring in projects like A Modern Affair (1996), and is beloved for his unforgettable turn as Caesar Flickerman in The Hunger Games franchise.
