There are renewed calls for a more robust and resilient public sector to support Ghana’s economy.
At the launch of his latest book “Get Ahead, Stay on Track”, author Stanley Okoh stressed that a strong and efficient public service is key to creating the right environment for businesses to thrive.
Mr. Okoh explained that without an effective public service, businesses would struggle to grow and contribute meaningfully to national development.
He emphasized that strengthening institutions and governance systems is essential to unlocking Ghana’s economic potential.
The book, described in its foreword as a “powerful piece” that fills a critical gap in youth development, offers practical insights into persistence, self-belief, leadership, and strategies for success.
It also touches on ways the public sector can be reformed to better support national growth.
Mr. Okoh explained that the work is meant to guide young people in navigating their personal and professional journeys while contributing meaningfully to society.
“The enormity of his sacrifice personally to sustain the spectacular treasure called ‘youth’ is incalculable,” the foreword noted, praising the author’s commitment.
“Get Ahead, Stay on Track” combines real-life experiences with simple, instructive lessons aimed at equipping readers to stay focused, succeed, and remain relevant in a competitive world.
