Stainless steel maker Mangalam Worldwide set to migrate to NSE mainboard

Stainless-steel manufacturer Mangalam Worldwide will transition from SME platform to mainboard on National Stock Exchange on Thursday.

The company has already received approval from NSE.

Chandragupt Prakash Mangal, Managing Director, Mangalam Worldwide said the move is an important milestone in driving sustainable growth and creating long-term value for all our stakeholders.

Mangalam Worldwide is an integrated stainless-steel manufacturer that produces billets, ingots, bars, flats and angle bars, Square bars and seamless pipes, tubes and U-tubes.

“Our products are globally benchmarked, rigorously tested, and traceable end to end that are built to perform reliably in most critical applications,” said Chandragupt.

The company operates modern plants across Gujarat, melting at Halol, rolling at Changodar, and bright bars plus seamless pipes and tubes at Kapadvanj.

Spread across over 1.25 lakh square meters and powered by a workforce of over 1,000 people, the facilities have a cumulative installed capacity of over 1.90 lakh tonnes.

In the June quarter, Mangalam Worldwideb registered net profit jumped by over 68 per cent to Rs 10 crore and total income increased by 21 per cent to Rs 279 crore on back of integrated business model and focuses on value-added products.

The company exports to over 20 countries while maintaining a strong presence across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Emphasizing its growth plans, Chandragupt said that the company is expanding its product portfolio and strengthening its global presence.

“We are investing in technology and operational efficiency, with initiatives like our captive solar power plant, to drive both cost-effectiveness and sustainability,” he added.

GST reforms

Chandragupt also believes that the recently announced GST reform measures by the government will strengthen domestic demand and open new growth opportunities.
