Stacey Solomon has told fans she’s still ‘cringing’ after he was ‘snubbed’ by David Beckham. Those who have been watching the Loose Women star’s reality show, Stacey & Joe, on BBC One will have seen her contact the former football star in the latest episode of the series on Tuesday (September 23). She was encouraged by her sister, Jemma, to contact the ex-England and Manchester United footballer after she took up beekeeping at her family home, Pickle Cottage. David has famously been involved with bees and even launched his own business Bee Up as a result of his hobby. Hoping to get some practical advice, Stacey could be seen sending David a voice note message via Instagram. In the scene, Stacey could be heard saying: “Hi David, I really feel embarrassed messaging you but my sister told me I should message you and just ask you about bees. “I am getting a beehive and I know you’ve got bees and you and Victoria have bees and they are a big part of your life. I wondered if you had any top tips or advice. “I am already regretting sending this message as I know you’ll never see it or hear it and if you do, you will probably think that I am a weirdo. Happy Tuesday David!” But Stacey was quickly disappointed as she later told the cameras: “He hasn’t even got a tick next to it. He hasn’t even opened it.” To which her husband joked that David should not reply to his wife, joking that he didn’t need “the competition”. Now, Stacey has offered an update after the show was filmed months ago. Taking to her Instagram Story with a video, she could be seen sitting in the garden as she told her millions of followers: “So many of you are messaging me after last night’s episode asking me if David Beckham ever replied to my DM. “I feel so cringer! The cringiest person alive. My sister does this to me. She’s got some kind of spekl over me where she’ll goad me until I’m like, ‘Yeah, okay then, I’ll do it!’ Obviously, he never replied. He never even saw it. He’s a busy man, with a busy family, with a busy job and I didn’t expect him to see it. Now I’m just lke, how embarassing. But oh well, we keep going despite the embarrassment.”
