SSL Earns Third Place In Regional Awards Stevedoring Services Limited [SSL] earned third place in the 2025 Ludlow Stewart Container Port of the Year awards, recognising Hamilton, Bermuda, for excellence in port operations. A spokesperson said, “Stevedoring Services Limited [SSL], the port operator for Hamilton, Bermuda, has earned a prestigious recognition. The Caribbean Shipping Association [CSA] recognised Hamilton, Bermuda, as the third-place winner in its 2025 Ludlow Stewart Container Port of the Year awards. “Announced at the 55th Caribbean Shipping Association AGM, Conference & Exhibition, the Ludlow Stewart Container Port of the Year awards highlight ‘measurable gains in berth efficiency, productivity, safety and security.’ Hosted in Paramaribo, Suriname, this year’s conference had over 400 maritime professionals in attendance. “The winner of the 2025 Ludlow Stewart Container Port of the Year was Port Purcell, British Virgin Islands, and the runner-up was Point Lisas, Trinidad & Tobago.” “After gaining special recognition last year, we are honoured to receive third place for this year’s award,” said Randy Rochester, CEO of SSL’s parent company, Polaris Holding Company Ltd. “Our team works diligently and efficiently, moving over 35,000 containers in a year.
