The Sports University of Haryana (SUOH) gained international acclaim at the 15th International Symposium on Computer Science in Sport held from September 12-16 in Tokyo, Japan.
Prof. Yogesh Chander, Dean of the School of Physical Education and Sports, along with his three-member team – Vinit Kumar, Sagar Dalal, and Sanyam Malik – presented two research papers selected for oral presentation at this prestigious event.
The subjects of research were: Use of Digital Tools in Pre-Service Coaching Practices: A Case Study of the Sports University of Haryana and Impact of Resistance Training on Physical Fitness Parameters in Kabaddi and Wrestling Players.
Prof. Chander also chaired a major technical session attended by 140 delegates from 20 countries, demonstrating leadership and expertise in the global academic arena.
Recently, Prof. Chander was appointed as International Ambassador of the USA-based Physical Education and Sports Organization, recognising his significant contributions to global sports science.
Ashok Kumar, SUOH’s Vice-Chancellor, congratulated the team and reaffirmed the university’s vision of promoting academic excellence, research innovation, and global collaboration.
