Spencertown Academy Arts Center's Conversations with Neighbors presents “From Mirette to Einstein," a conversation with children’s book author/illustrator Emily Arnold McCully and playwright Elizabeth Diggs, at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2. The longtime Spencertown residents will discuss McCully’s 60-year career, including her Caldecott Medal-winning “Mirette on the High Wire" and her mission to tell stories about brave girls and extraordinary but overlooked women in science, the arts, politics, sports, and more.
