Managed office space providers SpazeOne has chalked out major expansion plans in multiple south Indian cities as the concept of using co-working space is showing robust growth among organisations and professionals.
SpazeOne, founded only four years ago in Kochi by entrepreneurs Sijo Jose and James Thomas, has already attracted investments exceeding ₹70 crore, and offers 5.5 lakh sq ft of managed office space in nearly two dozen locations in cities across Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
“High-quality, affordable work spaces are showing strong demand across geographies from organisations cutting across sectors from media to banking to IT services. We now serve a diverse clientele that includes corporates, growing enterprises, start-ups and freelancers,” SpazeOne Co-founder and Director Sijo Jose said.
The Kochi-based company has now expanded to Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode, Coimbatore and Bengaluru, and will soon offer managed office space in cities like Chennai, Hyderabad and Madurai.
The co-working space concept has high demand after Covid, when companies realised the huge costs and risks in investing in own space and arranging services like security, cleaning staff and cafeteria. Since then, there has been a strong tilt towards taking up managed spaces by which companies can focus on their core business and let the office support systems be managed by the co-work space provider, James Thomas said.
Besides catering to larger enterprises, SpazeOne also caters to the flexi work needs of individual professionals who can hire a workspace for an hour, a day or for longer periods.
The promoters said SpazeOne’s special offerings include women spaces with sanitary napkin vending machines, high-speed internet, hot and cold beverages, 24/7 secure access, modern and comfortable workspaces to enhance comfort and productivity and daily maintenance services.
Keeping to global standards, SpazeOne incorporates a stress-free design element in its work spaces and also offers sick rooms and areas for games to reduce stress.
