Executive Education Academy Charter School‘s recently approved athletic complex will feature a football stadium located at an unorthodox location. The Allentown high school’s $25 million project, Executive Stadium, will consist of a turf field, 4,000 spectator seats, a press box and concession stand placed on top of a 300-space parking garage. Executive’s new state-of-the-art facility will be located behind the school in the parking lot it shares with the Philadelphia Phillies’ Triple-A affiliate Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs. The Iron Pigs, who hold the rights to the shared lot, expressed some level of concern with construction during the baseball season. An agreement was struck between the two sides to begin the building process following the Iron Pigs’ season. When the season ended, ground was broken on the new parking structure. It’s expected to be complete in time for the beginning of the Iron Pigs’ 2026 season, so Lehigh Valley can continue its game day operations as normal. The stadium itself will take an additional six months to complete. Executive’s 5-3 football team currently plays its home football games at Muhlenburg College. Executive founder and CEO Bob Lysek told The Morning Call he hopes to play some games at the new facility next fall.
