Sophia Dias Impresses For Tulane Team The Tulane sailing team, featuring local sailor Sophia Dias, completed a clean sweep in the Seisa Fall Championships in Corpus Christi, Texas. Guided by the impressive displays of skipper Dias, Tulane secured the Open Championship for the sixth consecutive time, while the women’s team claimed their seventh straight conference title. In the women’s Fleet Race Championship, Tulane finished with a total of 28 points through eight rotations, securing first place by a 34-point margin. Overall, they won eight of the 16 total races across the two women’s divisions. Dias teamed up with crew Caitlin Briggs in the A Division to deliver a near-perfect run, pacing all sailors with a low score of just ten points.
