With only a few months to go in 2025, SonyLIV has dropped a power-packed line-up of new and returning shows in Hindi. At long last, fans can breathe a sigh of relief that their favourite shows, Gullak and Undekhi, will be returning. Here’s the full list of all the shows coming back with new seasons and the new dramas and thrillers to tune in to. New upcoming Hindi series on SonyLIV Real Kashmir Football Club: Inspired by true events, the series follows the remarkable story of two men who built Kashmir’s first professional football club. Produced by Jaya Entertainment and Oshun Entertainment, the series is helmed by showrunner Mahesh Mathai and stars Manav Kaul and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub in lead roles. Dynasty – Moh Nishtha Satta: Raveena leads this gripping political drama also featuring Ronit Roy, Prakash Belawadi, Talat Aziz, Zeyn Shaw, and Gurfateh Pirzada. Created by Nandan Singh, Dynasty is directed by showrunner Sahil Sangha. Summer of 76: Filmmaker Sudhir Mishra’s coming-of-age drama is set during the post-independence Emergency with Vishal Vashishtha and Isha Talwar in the lead. The period series is produced by Studio Next & Cine Raas Entertainment. Civil Lines: Nipun Dharmadhikari’s series is a modern-day love story tested by social expectations with stars Varun Sharma, Shivani Raghuvanshi, Anurag Kashyap, Renuka Shahane, and Yashpal Sharma. Produced by Rose Audio Visuals, Civil Lines is created by Durgesh Singh. 13th – Some Lessons Aren’t Taught in Classrooms: Gagan Dev Riar, Paresh Pahuja and Girija Oak star in this drama by director Nishil Sheth which explores unconventional life lessons. Written and created by Sameer Mishra, 13th is led by showrunner and producer Abhishek Dhandharia. Returning Hindi series on SonyLIV Maharani 4: Huma Qureshi will return as Rani Bharti in the political drama directed by Puneet Prakash. Once again, the new season will be helmed by showrunner Subhash Kapoor with Shweta Basu Prasad, Amit Sial, Vineet Kumar, and Kani Kusruti as part of the ensemble cast. Freedom At Midnight 2: The historical drama, which launched last year by showrunner Nikkhil Advani, will return to continue to tell untold stories from India’s independence. The critically acclaimed series is based on the book by Dominique Lapierre and Larry Collins Scam 2010: The Subrata Roy Saga: Hansal Mehta’s anthology series moves on to the next chapter in the crime franchise, this time focusing on the man who founded Sahara India Pariwar. Mehta is back as showrunner. Gullak 5: The Viral Fever’s comedy series featuring the Mishra family returns with another season of humor and heart. Showrunner Shreyansh Pandey also returns. Undekhi 4: Director Ashish R Shukla’s crime thriller returns for another season, diving deeper into lawlessness and power struggles in the Atwal family. More regional originals in Bengali and Marathi Other language series to look forward to include the Bengali series Jazz City starring Arifin Shuvoo and Sauraseni Maitra. The period drama set around a jazz club during the 1970–71 Liberation War is produced by Cherrypix and directed by showrunner Soumik Sen. The Marathi series Manvat Murders will return for a second series with director Ashish Bende for a darker, more chilling return of the investigative thriller.
