It seems some players have figured out macros for Tariq in Fellowship. For those unaware, Tariq is one of the hardest yet best DPS characters in the game. The devs label him as a 4-star difficulty hero. And while his kit is fairly simple on paper, the hard part is paying constant attention to his unique swing timer. Failing to press your Heavy Strike finisher in place of your regular auto attack is a massive DPS spike loss. It’s very easy to miss while juggling your procs and Wild Swings filler, along with mechanics. Some players are getting around this by using third-party applications to modify macro buttons on their peripherals. Essentially, whenever a player presses their Wild Swings or Skull Crusher ability, the macro casts Heavy Strike ability. Heavy Strike is off the GCD (global cooldown), and so, it can be pressed anytime after another ability without delay. Essentially, macroing Heavy Strike after your filler and proc skills makes it easier to execute your rotation properly. This has made Tariq significantly more simplified to play, reducing the chances of you missing the Heavy Strike swing timer finisher and losing out on critical damage. There are a few ways to set this up, depending on your setup. You could use your peripheral software, like SteelSeries GG, Razer Synapse, or some other dedicated game-toggling macro software, and set up macros like that to automate the process. However, it should be noted that macros in Fellowship are not officially supported in-game. You need to use third-party software to use macros. As stated in Arc Game's ToS for Fellowship: "Do not use any unauthorized third-party application that allows you to exploit the game, such as botting software." While macros are not necessarily cheating or providing an unfair advantage, it is using a third-party application. It can therefore be used against a Terms of Service misuse and could result in account action. So, using any Tariq macro in Fellowship is at your own risk and discretion.
