A high-energy campaign rally was held in Obosi-Urban, Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State, in support of Governor Charles Soludo’s re-election bid—the event, which was attended by thousands of supporters.
Daily Independent learnt this from SSF Convener/National Coordinator, Hon Okechukwu Obi, in a Telephone conversation with our reporter today, being on Thursday, October 2, 2025, as he stated that the rally saw a massive turnout of supporters, who came out in large numbers to show their backing for Governor Soludo’s re-election bid.
Hon. Okechukwu Obi commended Governor Soludo’s achievements and sectoral development in Anambra State, describing him as a visionary leader committed to the growth and development of the state.
Obi appealed to Anambra citizens to give massive support to Governor Soludo and his deputy, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim, in the November 8, 2025, governorship election.
In the words of SSF Convener/National Coordinator: “Governor Soludo’s administration has made significant strides in maintaining peace and security in the state”.
“The state government has introduced free antenatal care and delivery services in public hospitals, benefiting over 107,000 women. Soludo’s administration has implemented free education from primary school to junior secondary school, increasing enrollment by 18.7%.
According to Hon Okechukwu Obi, the state has seen significant progress in road construction, with over 739 kilometers of roads built or upgraded.
The SSF leadership has pledged to continue mobilizing grassroots support for Governor Soludo’s re-election bid.
Hon Obi Okechukwu finally stated that the SSF group will embark on door-to-door campaigns to sensitize the populace and promote the governor’s policies and initiatives.
