Solo Leveling is one of the biggest names in anime right now and for good reason. From its intense pacing to its top-tier animation, there is little wanting when it comes to Solo Leveling. In the wake of season two, all eyes are on Sung Jinwoo as the hero prepares for his next adventure, and an explosive new report is now suggesting Solo Leveling's grand return will go down in theaters. Yes, you read that right. It appears a Solo Leveling movie really is in the works. The report comes from Seoul, South Korea, courtesy of Kiwoom Securities, and there is plenty to unpack in the document. Solo Leveling Is Reportedly Eyeing a 2026–2027 Movie The report, as you can see above, was posted by Kiwoom Securities this fall as a financial forecast. After all, Kiwoom is in the business of finance as the global brand does everything from investment strategy to asset control and more. This fall, Kiwoom Securities did a fiscal breakdown of DNC Media, the company that publishes Solo Leveling in South Korea, and their document includes some rather interesting details. "Season 2 of the Solo Leveling anime, produced by a Japanese production committee, aired on October 10 to greater success than season 1," the report reads. And from there, the document gets very intriguing. "Currently, [Solo Leveling's] next project will be produced as a movie rather than a seasonal TV production. Large-scale animation projects such as Demon Slayer are also produced as movies... Given the success of the [Demon Slayer] movie, it is expected that the [Solo Leveling] will have exponential box office success." Solo Leveling Is All But Guaranteed a Movie By Now As you can see, Kiwoom Securities' forecast is confident the return of Solo Leveling will happen in theaters. Of course, DNC Media has not said anything official about the anime's future, and the same goes for its production company. No updates have been given on Solo Leveling since its second season ended in March 2025. A-1 Pictures, the studio that oversees production of Solo Leveling, has been frank about its interest in continuing the anime. But as of now, no word has been given on the show's future.
