Shree Sha Souharda Cooperative Society donated 500 stainless steel plates and 5,000 cloth bags worth ₹1 lakh to the Mahatobhara Mangaladevi temple in the city on September 19.
Temple hereditary managing trustee Arun Aithal received the plates and bags from society president M.S. Gururaj and the team of directors at the temple premises.
Mr. Gururaj said the society was fortunate to serve the devotees of Mangaladevi by providing plates to serve meals and bags to distribute prasadam on its 6th anniversary. The society, he said, has been setting aside a portion of its profits for CSR activities, including conducting health camps, providing books to government schools, and supporting other social causes every year.
Mr. Aithal said the gesture of Shree Sha goes a long way in the service of temple devotees.
