Next week in Walford, Callum Highway is set to face his father Jonno’s funeral in EastEnders, with his husband Ben Mitchell locked up across the pond.
Callum, portrayed by Tony Clay, has been seeking solace in Johnny Carter’s arms during this difficult time. The two have started a secret affair and are now contemplating whether to bring their relationship into the open.
As Callum gets ready to say his final goodbyes to his father Jonno, he might be forced to reveal his secret. Over on Coronation Street, Asha Alahan, played by Tanisha Gorey, is doing her best to keep it together, but her mental health is rapidly deteriorating.
Meanwhile, in Emmerdale, Charity (Emma Atkins) and Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) are trying hard to keep their secrets under wraps.
In Emmerdale, Charity is feeling the heat from Ross to get the results of her paternity test. Seeing an excited Sarah and Jacob eagerly awaiting their baby’s arrival makes her feel guilty, and her guilt intensifies when Mack plans an impromptu date.
However, Chas grows suspicious after spotting a worried-looking Charity in the Woolpack. Charity can’t bear to tell anyone else the truth, but she soon decides to schedule a termination.
Rhona is still seething over April nearly causing her brother’s death, and the family begins to discuss April’s living arrangements. Marlon is uncertain about letting her move out, but a remorseful April seems determined to stay with “friends.”
April then confirms with Ray that she’ll be taking up the offer of a room. Gabby confides in vicar Charles and Vinny is taken by surprise when she brings Charles home.
She’s requested his help for some counselling and Vinny finally starts to share his feelings. Vinny and Gabby remain wary but they’re optimistic about their future – until Gabby catches Vinny and Lewis in a close moment.
With Jimmy having inadvertently flooded the house, he, Nicola and the kids move in with a shocked Laurel. Meanwhile, Chas realises that in her concern over Charity’s issues, she’s overlooked Liam’s anxiety about his PSA test results.
Coronation Street
Bernie expresses her concerns about Asha to Dev. In the shop, Asha takes a swig from a wine bottle and tells Brody to look after the shop while she steps out.
At the pub, Dev receives a call from Amy – she’s located Asha thanks to Theo. A paramedic attends to Asha and questions Deb and Amy about whether she might have consumed drugs along with the wine.
Tim picks up a passenger and immediately recognises a girl he knew in the 80s – Trisha Pinkerton. Later, Sally is livid to see Tim and Trisha together – but Brian is taken aback when Tim confesses he was only 14 when he was with Trisha. And she was nearly 20.
Everyone comes together for Ronnie’s birthday party but Carl finds himself awkwardly stuck between Abi and James. When Alfie spills his drink, Abi goes to clean it up and Carl lends a hand.
Debbie spots a close moment between Kevin and Abi, warning him to get legal advice as she believes Abi can’t be trusted. Misinterpreting their conversation, Abi panics and sends a text meant for Carl to the wrong person. Meanwhile, Todd is harbouring a big health secret and confides in Billy, leaving Theo fuming when he sees them together.
It’s a tough day for the Mitchells as they gather for Jonno’s funeral, with Kathy rallying everyone to support Callum. However, Callum asks Johnny to stay away from the funeral to avoid raising eyebrows.
Unbeknownst to them, Kathy witnesses their intimate moment. She later spills the beans about Callum’s actions at the cafe, leaving the Mitchell family shocked by his deceit.
Stuart turns up after being convinced by Johnny, while Kathy and the rest of the Mitchells agree to keep Ben in the dark. Callum plans to confess everything after the funeral, but is taken aback when Ben arrives unexpectedly.
Harry and Gina are back from their weekend getaway, but Harry’s joy is short-lived when Kojo collapses at The Arches, reminding him that he’s still under Ravi and Okie’s thumb.
Harry tries to confront Ravi but gets brushed off, leading him to seek Teddy’s help. Elsewhere, George checks on Kojo after his fall, but his concern comes across as too intense.
Eve and Suki decide to meet for a drink at The Albert, but things get off to a shaky start until Eve reveals her desire to adopt a baby. Vicki and Joel have a row after he expresses more chauvinistic views. Ross attempts to manage the situation, but a defiant Joel retorts. Later, an incident at school instigated by Joel and Tommy brings additional trouble to Vicki’s doorstep.
The tension within Grace’s family escalates, leading to a spat between Grace and her sister Clare. The pair end up in a physical altercation, which Froggy has to intervene in.
Tom stumbles upon Peri during a hectic hospital shift and discovers she’s been having doubts about their relationship. Peri then drops a bombshell on Tom.
Meanwhile, Darren proposes organising a public vigil for the families of Jez’ victims. Cleo pays a visit to Joel and he informs her that he’s being transferred. Elsewhere, Lucas and Dillon are at odds.
Nicolette is optimistic when Leo shows interest in her surrogacy proposal. But when he tries to discuss the subject with Krista, he’s reminded of their tumultuous relationship.
Max, Taye and Sadie all enjoy a day off, but they nearly spot Holly and Andrew. Karl and Susan attempt to uncover the cause of Holly’s recent antisocial behaviour, but Susan’s effort quickly backfires.
Later, as Felix returns to Erinsborough, the walls close in on Andrew. Felix grows suspicious of Greg’s influence on Cara. Elsewhere, Paul and Elle join forces.
Home and Away
Eden plans to evict Remi, but Sonny fears the news could trigger a new downward spiral for him. Alf, David and Marilyn spend time with Cohen while Roo confronts Adrian outside his work shed. John arranges a dinner with Justin, Leah, Alf and Marilyn, but it’s evident he’s missing Irene.
On the other hand, Bree confides in Jo about her struggles living with two couples, leading to her housemates stepping in. Mali is getting frustrated with Abigail’s untidiness, while Harper and Tane are finding it difficult to live together.
