Snoop Dogg returns to NBC’s coverage team for 2026 Milan Olympics

Snoop Dogg has qualified for the 2026 Olympics…in his own way.
NBCUniversal announced during Week 4 of Sunday Night Football the global superstar will return to cover the Games in Milan-Cortina beginning Feb. 6, 2026.
In a 15-second promotional video by NBC, Snoop is standing with his back to the screen as snow and the Olympic anthem surrounded him. Turning around wearing Team USA gear, he asks: “Guess who’s back?”
Snoop Dogg covered the 2024 Paris Olympics on NBC, where he traveled around and spoke to Mike Tirico offering his perspectives on the unfolding events, as well as providing behind the scenes commentary.

Like he did in Paris, Snoop will explore northern Italy’s iconic landmarks and cultures, attend competitions live and cheer on athletes alongside their friends, families and fellow competitors
Snoop also carried the Olympic torch ahead of the Paris Opening Ceremony while engaging in segments alongside Simone Biles, Caeleb Dressel and Martha Stewart, among others.
“I am excited to be back with my main man Mike Tirico for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan Cortina,” Snoop said in a statement. “The D O double G will be on the scene, and I am looking forward to celebrating with the athletes and their families. The Olympics is the biggest stage in the world and, as everyone knows, I’m all about sports, bringing people together, and unifying while bringing the fun. I’ll be bringing my puffy jackets, snow pants, goggles, skates (and will definitely be iced out).”
The 2026 Winter Games will run from Feb. 6 to Feb. 22.
Snoop, who has almost 89 million followers on Instagram with worldwide appeal beyond social media, won two Emmys as part of NBCUniversal’s Paris Olympics coverage, including Outstanding Live Special – Championship Event.
