Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico won’t attend an informal meeting of European Union leaders in Copenhagen due to health issues related to an attempt to kill him last year.
Fico’s decision to cancel his participation was announced just as the gathering was kicking off in the Danish capital against the background of heightened security following a series of suspicious drone sightings around country’s airports.
