Skyfarm, Operator of Commercial Facility DX “NEW PORT,” Conducts Fundraising

Skyfarm announced on the 31st that it has conducted a third-party allocation of shares to expand the business of its DX platform for commercial facilities, “NEW PORT.” The allocation was subscribed by Takanawa Chikyueki Fund (TAKANAWA GATEWAY Chikyueki Investment Business Limited Partnership), KDDI Open Innovation Fund V, and HHP Co-Creation Fund No. 1 Investment Business Limited Partnership. The amount raised has not been disclosed. NEW PORT is a cloud service that centrally manages multiple mobile orders, such as table orders at food courts and pre-orders for delivery and takeout. According to the company, it is being introduced in a variety of “places” such as commercial facilities, stations, offices, and arenas. As a system for multi-tenant use, it offers centralized management of multiple stores, integration with house cards, and simultaneous purchase functions across multiple stores, thereby enhancing the overall customer experience of the facility and improving the operational efficiency of tenants. The company’s strength lies in its external collaboration centered on a mobile order platform, steadily building a track record in constructing robot delivery services through integration with delivery robots and smart lockers. By combining purchasing pathways across facilities and promotional and leasing functions utilizing purchasing data, it differentiates itself as a comprehensive DX platform that goes beyond a mere ordering system. The funds raised will be allocated to expanding the facilities and areas covered, including overseas expansion, strengthening the functions of the customer experience team, and enhancing external system integration with delivery robots and smart lockers. The company raised funds in a Series A round in 2020. In 2023, gooddays Holdings participated in a third-party allotment of new shares and became an equity-method affiliate. Since then, the two companies have been working to drive feature development and broader implementation, including integration between the cloud POS system “Redx” and NEW PORT. via PR TIMES
