While it may have been nice to get these a little earlier than about three seconds before the game launches, Skate’s system requirements are here, and thankfully, it doesn’t look like it will be too difficult to run the game in its full glory. Even the Ultra mode only wants an RTX 3070TI or an RX 6900 XT, so, while not exactly low-end, if you are hunting down 60fps and 4K skating, a lot of people should be just fine with that. It is recommended, however, that you pack 32GB of RAM into that equation for the increased texture size, whereas the other three settings are happy with much less. How big is Skate? Before installing, you are going to need to free up around 25GB of storage, which isn’t too bad these days when you look at the size of games like Call of Duty. If you want to find out how to get Early access to Skate from today, we have you covered. If you’ve got a budget or older PC, or even a crappy old laptop, you can still play Skate, but expect lower visual quality and a capped 30fps experience. Ideal for casual play. Medium (60fps, 1080p, Medium):A solid mid-range setup. Here, you’ll get smooth 60fps gameplay at Full HD (1080p) with better textures and effects. Recommended (60fps, 1440p, High):Aimed at gamers who want a sharp, detailed experience without compromising performance. Perfect for modern systems with strong mid-to-high range GPUs like the RTX 3060. Ultra (60fps, 4K, Ultra):This is for enthusiasts with higher-end rigs and 4K displays. You’ll enjoy the best top-tier visuals, but it’s gonna require more powerful hardware like an RTX 3070 Ti or Radeon RX 6900 XT, plus a hefty 32GB of RAM. Overall:Even if you only meet the minimum, Skate is accessible — but to really appreciate its fluid motion and open-world skateboarding, aim for at least the Recommended tier.
