Trinidad and Tobago’s junior netballers were resigned to another defeat at the 2025 Netball World Youth Cup when they were beaten 67–58 by Singapore, yesterday, in Gibraltar. Losing yesterday’s 13th–16th placing semi-final, T&T at best could finish 15th of the 18 teams which participated in the world tournament. Today, they play hosts Gibraltar who were beaten 71-36 by Tonga in the other 13th-16th playoff semi-final. Should T&T win, they would end the tournament in 15th, while another loss would result in 16th-place finish. T&T have posted just win at the tournament, a 58-33 whipping of Caribbean rivals Barbados in the group stage, but have suffered losses to Malawi, South Africa, Fiji, Malaysia and Singapore.
