Silent Hill f gets big discount on PS5 with this pre-order deal

One of the most anticipated horror games of the year has received a discount in the UK, ahead of its launch later this month.

The Silent Hill franchise is on an upswing after the excellent remake of Silent Hill 2, and early word is also positive around the next mainline instalment.

Developed by Taiwanese developer NeoBards Entertainment, Silent Hill f is the first mainline entry in the horror series since 2012’s Silent Hill: Downpour. It’s the first title in the franchise to be set in Japan too, with When They Cry creator Ryukishi07 serving as the lead writer.

An early review in Japanese outlet Famitsu has already awarded the game a 36/40 rating, while a writer at DualShockers took it upon themselves to break the embargo on Reddit with a 9.5/10 score, in a post which has since been deleted.

It’s shaping up to be a safe bet for Halloween frights, so if you’re looking to take the plunge, a pre-order deal at Currys is offering the lowest price yet for the PlayStation 5 version.

The game is listed for £64.99 on the Currys website, which is already £5 less than the recommended retail price of £69.99. However, if you use the code ‘SILENT10’ at the checkout, you can save an additional 10% and knock it down to £58.49.

This is the cheapest price out there for the PlayStation 5 version, ahead of its launch on September 25, 2025. There’s no listing for the Xbox Series X/S, but Amazon is selling those for £62.99.

If you don’t mind dropping some extra cash, Amazon is also selling a version of Silent Hill f with a UK exclusive SteelBook for £69.99 across PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Silent Hill f isn’t the only Silent Hill game in the pipeline. A spin-off entitled Silent Hill: Townfall is in development at Screen Burn, which is described as being part of a new anthology series under publisher Annapurna Interactive.

As announced earlier this year, Bloober Team is developing a remake of the original Silent Hill too, after proving their chops with last year’s Silent Hill 2 remake.

If you want more impressions on Silent Hill f, we played the game recently and despite having some reservations around the combat, found it to be very impressive.
