Shell India has convened innovators, policymakers, and industry leaders at the third edition of its flagship platform ‘Changemakers of Tomorrow 2025’ in Bengaluru, underscoring the company’s focus on building collaborative models to accelerate India’s clean energy transition. The two-day event brought together senior voices from government and industry, including Invest India MD & CEO Nivruti Rai; Shell India Chairperson and SVP Shell Lubricants Asia Pacific Mansi Madan Tripathy; Shell CIO Robbert van Rutten, Shell CTO Selda Gunsel, and Infosys co-founder Nandan Nilekani. Discussions ranged from digital transformation in energy and open innovation to future-ready data infrastructure and sustainable mobility.Speaking at the inaugural, Rai said that India’s innovators are already creating tomorrow’s energy infrastructure and that platforms such as Shell’s help link technology, capital, and industry when breakthrough solutions are ready to scale. Tripathy added that the company views net-zero as a shared journey powered by “bold ideas, game-changing solutions, and collaborative action.”The sessions covered a wide spectrum—from a Shell E4 Demo Day showcasing startups working on energy transition, to student-led innovations under Shell NXplorers, and the Shell Eco-marathon featuring EV LUNARIS, an electric vehicle designed by students from the College of Engineering, Trivandrum. A fireside chat between Nilekani and van Rutten highlighted the role of digital technology in advancing low-carbon growth, while day two explored leadership rooted in empathy, the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) in energy, and Shell’s advanced cooling technologies for AI-driven data centres.Karnataka’s Industrial Development Commissioner Gunjan Krishna said micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are the backbone of the state’s industrial growth, adding that collaborations such as Changemakers help connect entrepreneurs with global expertise and scale.Live EventsShell’s global partners, including Microsoft, Infosys, Salesforce, AWS, IBM, and Accenture, participated in the discussions, pointing to the increasing need for cross-sectoral partnerships as India ramps up renewable capacity and targets net-zero by 2070.With India emerging as a key market for energy transition technologies—the country is targeting 500 GW of renewable capacity by 2030 and has seen rapid growth in electric mobility—Shell India’s Changemakers platform is being positioned as a convergence point for startups, corporates, and policymakers looking to accelerate solutions at scale.Add as a Reliable and Trusted News Source Add Now!
