Shane Lynch and wife Sheena celebrate daughter Marley becoming a teenager

And so it begins for Shane Lynch and his wife, Sheena, as their youngest daughter enters her teenage years.

The Boyzone singer shares two daughters with Sheena: Billie Rae, who is 16 and Marley Mae, who has just turned 13.

The couple, who originally lived in London for nearly 20 years, made the move to Cheshire in the north of England in 2018, with their daughters, to begin a new business adventure.

Making her birthday one to remember, their daughter, Marley Mae, before heading to school, was greeted by a giant balloon in the shape of the number 13, as well as several pink decorated presents.

Posting the video on her social media, Sheena, beaming with pride, wrote, ‘Happy 13th birthday to our brilliant, brave and beautiful Marley.’

Finishing the message, she said ‘What a joy the past 13 years have been, you make my heart smile. We love you, baby girl!’

It’s been a busy few years for the Lynch family, as Shane admitted that he was stepping away from show business as well as dipping his toe in the hospitality industry.

Shane and Sheena opened their own bar in Cheshire called the D13, which was in reference to where the singer grew up, Donaghmede, in North Dublin.

After a few years, the star stood back from the venue, resulting in its closure in December 2024.

Earlier this year, Shane found himself back among his boys in Boyzone to promote the Sky Original documentary Boyzone: No Matter What.

Boyzone sold more than 25 million records worldwide, but for the lads, success came at a price, with depression and loss affecting their lives.

Shane says he has no regrets, although he is surprised at some of his own behaviour, now long forgotten.
