The Met Office issued a weather warning for heavy rain, with up to 60–80mm of rain possible over high ground. Heavy rain caused flooding on numerous roads and some properties. Natural Resources Wales issued six flood alerts for rivers in areas like Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire . On Saturday, September 20, the village of Swyddffynnon near Tregaron in Ceredigion was the wettest location in the UK, with 66.8mm of rainfall.
