At Wrestlepalooza, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins is heading into another massive battle with CM Punk. However, this time it’s a mixed gender tag team match featuring the official return match for Punk’s wife, AJ Lee.Rollins will have his wife, Becky Lynch, as a tag team partner, creating a first-ever situation in their careers due to the nature of the match and opponents.While there are no stipulations involved, bragging rights will undoubtedly be on the line, as the winners will have one-up on their opponents after several weeks of trash-talking and physical attacks.The event, which takes place in Indianapolis, also features John Cena battling Brock Lesnar. That interview segment featured Rollins revealing when he might consider calling it a career with WWE.Rollins shared that he has “a couple of years left” on his current contract with the company.”I wouldn’t mind spending extra time with my daughter in a few years,” he told the hosts.”You can do this for a little bit longer than your body might allow you to,” Rollins also told them, adding, “The older you get, the smarter you get and the more equity you have with our audience, so you get a little extra time, I think.”Other wrestling stars have continued with their in-ring careers for many years before retiring. However, Rollins, 39, said he’s unsure if he wants to continue with professional wrestling matches into his 50s.His career with WWE goes back to 2010, when he was with various developmental territories, including Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) and NXT.Many WWE fans know him from his early days as a member of The Shield. Before any of that, Rollins worked with the Ring of Honor promotion from 2007 to 2010.The longtime professional wrestling star, now the leader of The Vision stable, has become one of the most popular attractions within WWE. Fans at various events sing his entrance theme song in unison upon his arrival to the ring, and sometimes don’t stop singing for quite some time.He surprised everyone with his fake injury reveal at WWE’s SummerSlam last month. On the stage, Rollins dropped the crutches he’d been using for weeks, headed to the ring, and cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase to claim the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.The buildup to that shocking moment featured Rollins convincing fans and many coworkers that he had really sustained that injury in real life. However, it created another impactful highlight during his superstar career.Fans may be surprised at how quickly Rollins might retire from his in-ring work. However, the constant WWE workload and physical stress can be overwhelming.
