Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian recently delivered an emphatic reaction to his legendary wife putting a Wimbledon spin on the Elie Saab dress she wore to the reception of the 2025 Princess of Asturias Awards in Spain. Williams, a former No. 1 in both women's singles and doubles tennis, as well as a 23-time singles Major champion, received the Princess of Asturias Award for her immense contributions to the sport over the years.On Tuesday, November 4, Williams took to X (formerly Twitter) and shared four pictures of herself striking stunning poses in the all-white, open knit dress designed by Lebanon-based fashion designer Elie Saab. Flaunting the fact that she received the prestigious honor from King of Spain Felipe VI, Queen Letizia and Princess Leonor, their eldest daughter and heir to the Spanish throne, Williams wrote:"So… what do you wear when you’re getting an award from the King, Queen, and Princess of Spain?"Bringing up the iconic all-white dress code of the Wimbledon Championships, the prestigious grass Major where she captured seven singles and six women's doubles crowns, as well as a mixed doubles title, Serena Williams added:"I went with white. All white. Wimbledon rules still apply, apparently."Not long after the post was shared, Williams' husband, Reddit co-founder and noted entrepreneur and investor Alexis Ohanian took notice of it.
