MISSOULA — Missoula Sentinel senior basketball player Lincoln Rogers has announced where he will be continuing his career.
The 6-foot-8 guard will be heading east to Moorhead, Minnesota, attending MSU Minnesota and playing for the Dragons. Rogers was named to the 2024-25 Class AA all-state team, also earning “most outstanding defensive player” honors in the west.
“After a lot of thought and consideration I am excited to announce my commitment to Minnesota State Moorhead,” Rogers wrote on Twitter/ X. “Thank you to everyone who’s been apart of my journey.”
Rogers has helped lead the Spartans to the AA state tournament in each of the past two seasons. He was named to the state all-tournament team as a sophomore in the spring of 2024.
MSU Moorhead competes in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference, or the NSIC, at the Division II level. The Dragons finished 25-9 last season, winning the NSIC tournament.
