Warning: Contains spoilers for season 9 of Selling Sunset* One of the star's of Netflix's hit reality series Selling Sunset has admitted they were blind in a 'terrifying' health update. The realtors of The Oppenheim Group have returned for yet another explosive season with over-the-top listings and high stakes drama as they navigate love, betrayal and loyalty both inside and outside the brokerage. Now in its ninth season, The O Group welcome more new faces as well as new feuds and as the pressure turns up in their personal and professional lives, some might not have what it takes to keep their seat at the brokerage. As the landscape in Los Angeles quickly changes, everyone will have to adapt to a new reality. Released today (October 29), fans can enjoy ten brand new episodes and it doesn't take long for tensions to boil over. During a particularly heated episode, one star admitted to suffering from a serious condition before coming to blows with one of their co-stars. Gathering for what they called a Girlsgiving, the group played a game where they wrote down on cards to write down what they were thankful for Thanksgiving. A few of them wrote things like friends and family. However, there was surprise when it was revealed one person wrote down 'my eyesight'. Nicole Young admits it was hers and explains: "I had an eye injury a couple weeks ago where I was literally blind for 24 hours, and it was not only so painful, but it was so terrifying. I couldn't see anything. " She continued: "And it was after that I was like, I'll never take my eyesight for granted ever again." Chrishell Stause, who read out the card, doesn't pause to offer much sympathy, instead others decide to address the increasing tension. After allegations of drug use are repeated, Nicole says to Nicole: "Honey, you’re confusing me with your parents.” Chrishell's parents struggled with drug addiction during their lives and died one year apart of lung cancer in 2019 and 2020. According to Netflix's Tudum website, following the dinner, Jason and Brett asked Nicole to leave the Oppenheim office. However, she has since pointed out that it technically does not mean she was fired. That is because the realtors are all independent contractors who don’t clock in every day from nine-to-five. She told the site: "That storyline was frustrating for me, because the truth of the matter is I was never fired from the office or The Oppenheim group. Not coming into the office and continuing to work and do business, that wasn’t a huge deal." Nicole admits she has no plans to say sorry to Chrishell. She says: “I’m content with where I’m at. I said my piece.” As far as her relationships with the rest of the cast, she is still friends with Mary. However, her relationship with Amanza is 'permanently in the past' after Amanza claimed she and Nicole had done cocaine together. Now, she is preparing to sell her home in Los Angeles and move to Nashville to be closer to her husband’s family. However, she still plans to continue her real estate career following the move. Selling Sunset is streaming on Netflix.
