AKRON, Ohio — Brayton Feister scored the winning touchdown for Archbishop Hoban with 38 seconds left on the clock in the fourth quarter.
Hoban (5-1), ranked fifth in this week’s cleveland.com high school football Top 25, withstood one final drive from No. 1 Walsh Jesuit and handed the Warriors (5-1) their first loss with a 19-14 victory Friday night at Dowed Field in Akron.
Feister, a four-star prospect in the Class of 2027 at linebacker, led the Knights on both sides of the ball. He rushed for 125 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries. Junior Jance Henry added 78 yards on 21 carries, while senior quarterback Nick Kinsey completed 10 of 15 passes for 134 yards.

The Knights, who are idle next week, rushed for 200 yards as a team.
Junior quarterback Nick Ternosky threw for 134 yards on 10-of-20 passing to lead Walsh, which plays host next week to Columbus Bishop Hartley. He found Milan Parris five times for 80 yards, while Marty Tobin rushed for 84 yards on 13 carries with a third-quarter TD run that gave the lead to the Warriors.
