Skip to main content October 22, 2025 Demi Lovato Demi Lovato performed a mashup of two songs off Lady Gaga’s Mayhem during the singer’s visit to BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge. It’s tradition for guests to tackle another artist’s music while in the Live Lounge, but Lovato upped the ante by mashing up Mayhem’s “Disease” and “Perfect Celebrity” into one seamless performance. Lovato’s Mayhem mashup comes just two days before the singer releases her latest album, It’s Not That Deep, out this Friday. Lovato previously previewed the 11-track album with the lead singles “Fast” and “Here All Night,” both club-ready records that choose dancing over deep dives. “So proud of all the work I’ve done,” she shared on Instagram, “and now, it’s time to celebrate and have some fun!!!” Trending Stories Rina Sawayama Has Notes for the Team Behind Sabrina Carpenter’s Japan-Inspired ‘SNL’ Set Tyler, the Creator Is Trapped in an Online-Discourse Vortex ‘Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere’ Is Darkness on the Edge of a Bruce Biopic From Meeting Epstein to Escaping Him: What We Learned From Virginia Giuffre’s ‘Nobody’s Girl’ “With my past eras, I often wrote cathartic music about heavy topics that I needed to process,” Lovato said in a statement when she announced her eighth studio LP. “When I got back in the studio this time around, those songs just weren’t resonating anymore because I’m not in that place in life. I’m happy, I’m in love, and I just want to enjoy life and have fun. I realized it’s not that deep anymore, and that became the ethos for this album. It’s Not That Deep is meant for late nights and dancefloors, and I can’t wait for you all to dance with me.” NFL Commissioner Backs Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Show as Conservatives Keep Melting Down Big Game Player Jon Blistein Madison Beer Details New Album ‘Locket’ Set for New Year Daniel Kreps How Asheville’s 100-year anniversary of the ‘Asheville Sessions’ Makes it the Country Music Destination of Appalachia Rolling Stone Bon Jovi Announce 2026 ‘Forever’ Tour Marking Return to the Road After Jon’s Vocal-Cord Surgery Althea Legaspi Halestorm's Lzzy Hale on Playing Ozzy's Final Show: 'Not My First Rodeo Being the Only Girl' Joseph Hudak Go to PMC.com Most Popular Ace Frehley, Kiss Lead Guitarist and Solo Artist, Dies at 74 A (Kind of) Explanation as to Why 'South Park' Suddenly Entered Its 28th Season This Week Diane Keaton’s Cause of Death Revealed After Friends Shared Devastating Details From Her Final Moments Picasso Work Goes Missing in Transport Between Madrid and Granada You might also like Luis Valdez Doc Garners the $200,000 Library of Congress/Lavine/Ken Burns Prize 2 hours ago Here’s Where To Find the New State X LoveShackFancy Holiday Collection So You Can Travel in Style This Season 2 hours ago Capri Holdings Plots Turnaround After Steep Q4 Losses 5 months ago David Chase Is Back at HBO with a New Limited Series About ‘The Black Sorcerer’ of the CIA 4 hours ago NFL Owners Approve LP Stake Sales for Giants, Patriots, 49ers 3 hours ago Rolling Stone is a part of Penske Media Corporation. © 2025 Rolling Stone, LLC.
