“We believe the Greensboro store has a different vibe to it,” Josh Rowell said.
For example, sharing the New Garden property allows “for a one-stop shop for customers interested in shopping for outdoor furnishings, as well as landscaping services and flowers and plants,” he said.
Rowell said the manufacturing expansion the company undertook in December 2015 has paid off in increased sales.
At that time, the Rowells were attempting to capitalize on more consumers wanting an indoor look for their outdoor patio furnishings.
It has about 12,000 square feet of production and warehouse space at 2566 S. Stratford Road that expanded its offerings of high-end and waterproof outdoor cushions that can range up to $3,000 for a sofa group.
Casual has established a website for the replacement cushions at www.triadcushionfactory.com, where it will handle wholesale and commercial sales. Retail orders can be placed at the store.
Eddie Rowell said the expansion “allows us to serve local customers, plus continue to grow our wholesale side of the business … with two fairly large players in the (furniture cushion) industry.”
