It’s not often that the head coach, or any coach, is the ones who suffer an injury during a game. However, that is what happened to Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay on Sunday’s victory.More news: Browns Insider Drops Major Dillon Gabriel Prediction Ahead of Packers GameThe Rams coasted to a 33-19 victory over the Tennessee Titans, and while the team stayed healthy through the contest, McVay did not.Apparently, while running up and down the sideline to help the Rams secure the dominant victory, McVay suffered a very nasty foot injury. During a moment where he attempted to call a timeout, he appeared to have pulled up in an awkward way, damaging his foot in the process.McVay revealed that he suffered a torn plantar fascia in his foot. The Rams head coach revealed the injury on “The Coach McVay Show,” which follows games.”Foot’s good,” said McVay. “I did tear my plantar fascia, so yeah. Well, that’s a good thing, because I guess it allows you to heal a little faster. But I was being dramatic, limping around towards the end of the game, but the MRI confirmed I did that.”Good news is I’m not playing. The Rams’ defense was also all over Cam Ward, picking up five sacks and eight quarterback hits.Los Angeles has been impressive through two weeks, but their biggest test is upcoming. The Rams will face the Philadelphia Eagles next, and a big win there would place them among the top teams in the NFC.For McVay, he may have to take things a bit more easily this time around.
