The Buffalo Bills will head into Week 4 with an undefeated record of 3-0, holding the distinction of being a legitimate Super Bowl title contender in the AFC, with arguably the best player in the NFL leading the way in superstar quarterback Josh Allen.
Along with Allen leading the Bills to wins on a weekly basis to start the 2025 campaign, star running back James Cook is also firing on all cylinders while also enjoying playing alongside his superstar teammate.
In Week 4, the Bills will try to make it four wins in a row, with the team set to take on the winless New Orleans Saints at Highmark Stadium in Buffalo. Head coach Sean McDermott knows loyal Bills fans will be key to the team’s success on Sunday.
Sean McDermott Knows the Value of Bills Fans
“We take a lot of pride in defending our dirt,” McDermott said at a team press conference on Wednesday. “There’s really no other way to say it, and these guys put a lot of time and blood, sweat and tears into their jobs every day and their family sacrifice. Playing well at home is a big part of that. Defending what we take a lot of pride in, which is our fanbase and how hard we work.
“Let’s also be honest, our fans create an environment. That 12th man is real, and we’ll need them again this week. This offense we’re going to play runs a lot of no-huddle, and I just watched them try to get that done against Seattle, and I know our fans are the best in the NFL for a reason.”
Even though the Saints haven’t won a game through the first three weeks of the season, the Bills can’t take them lightly despite being heavy favorites at -15.5 as of Wednesday.
Bills Need to Take Advantage of 4-Game Stretch
The Bills were heavily favored going into their divisional matchup with the Miami Dolphins during Week 3, which resulted in Tua Tagovailoa and company keeping the game close until Buffalo stretched the lead out to 10 and eventually came away with the win.
There’s a chance the Bills can get out to a commanding lead in the AFC East division while separating themselves from the rest of the competition in the conference with the four-game stretch approaching before the highly anticipated matchup with Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs on Nov. 2.
Buffalo will host the Saints (0-3) this weekend, followed by matchups with the New England Patriots (1-2), Atlanta Falcons (1-2), and the Carolina Panthers (1-2). The Bills should win all of these games to improve to 7-0, and with the way the Chiefs (1-2) are playing, they might be able to come out on top in that game as well if Mahomes and company can’t figure out a way to turn things around.
It’ll be an interesting stretch to say the least for Buffalo, as they have a chance to light up the scoreboard from week to week while also making a case for being the best team in the league early in the 2025 campaign.
